Editorial policy
BusinessDayKit separates facts, calculations, and explanatory copy so calendar pages remain auditable.
Data and calculations
Date calculations are performed by code. U.S. federal holiday data is sourced from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management holiday schedule and stored as versioned records with a last-verified date.
AI-assisted copy
AI may assist with short explanatory text, summaries, or draft FAQ language. It is not used as the source for dates, holiday records, business-day counts, or policy conclusions.
Corrections
When an error is found, the affected page should be corrected, the data record should be updated if needed, and source information should remain visible on the page.
Review boundaries
Pages that discuss payroll, legal, tax, contract, or employment consequences are kept at a general planning level. BusinessDayKit does not publish automated conclusions about what a person or business must do under a law, contract, or employer policy.
Update cadence
Daily status pages may update every day. Annual holiday and business-day pages update when a new source record is added, corrected, or verified. Guide pages update when the explanation or internal linking can be made clearer.
